Lubbock woman charged with promotion of prostitution

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock woman is now behind bars on $150,000 bond.
A grand jury Tuesday indicted Joyce Meyer, 28, on charges of aggravated promotion of prostitution, organized crime, money laundering for amounts between $1,500 and $20,000.
Each charge carried a $50,000 bond.
According to the police report, an officer found out about the prostitution operation through an adult website.
